Delete your account

In the Couch app

Open Settings, tap Delete account, then confirm with Google or Apple. This works for every account, including ones made with Sign in with Apple.

If you sign in to Couch with Google, you can delete your account below.

What gets deleted

• Your account and profile (name, email, photo)
• Your rooms list, session history and total time together
• Your story submission, if you sent one
• Your feedback and the product events linked to your account
• The list of people you blocked
• You're taken out of the rooms you shared. Your partner keeps the room.
• Moments live only on your devices: delete the app or clear your browser data to remove them.

What we keep, and for how long

Your account registration details (name, email and sign-in method) for 180 days after deletion, because India's IT Rules require it, then they're deleted too. Safety reports you sent are kept without your name or email. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Can't sign in?

Email us from the address you use for Couch and we'll delete it for you:
